Police and public administrators will use establish Nyumba Kumi units in Sori area after a six months old fetus was rescued on Sunday evening.
Assistant County commissioner (DO) in charge of Sori division John Mabeya said it will help them arrest the suspect as the female fetus was picked by a Good Samaritan only minutes after being dumped.
“The fetus aged between 5-6 months was taken to St. Camilus hospital in Sori for medical checkup before being referred to Homa Bay hospital. It was by God’s grace that she survived,” Mabeya said.
He said fetus is responding positively as the noose is tightening on the suspect.
