Governor Obado with some of health donations
Migori county got a Sh50million donation of health equipment when I visited USA recently, Migori governor Okoth Obado has revealed.
He said the equipment from Afya International were got when he visited Arkansas and New York states from 3-10 October.
“The medical equipment will be used in the county once they are shipped in the country and distributed equally across all regions,” he told the press from his office on Thursday.
He said the visit also involved cultural exchange and will see medics from Migori and US exchange to learn use of the exchange.
“Once the equipment come we will also have exchange of medics from two regions to help in using them to benefit our residents,” he said.
