VACANCIES
Migori County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions as per the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act No.17 of 2012.

FISCAL POLICY ANALYST, JG “K”: – ONE (1) POST REF: MCPSB 113/2015

(a) Duties and responsibilities
1. Linking the budget to the County medium term plans and other plans
2. Capturing of the budget into the IFMIS through the plan to budget module.
3. Analysis of the county budget and preparation of budget reports
4. Develop and analysis budgetary policies in conjunction with the Director Economic Planning
5. Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

(b) Requirements for appointment
1. Be a holder of Bachelors degree in Economics, Commerce or its equivalent from a recognized university
2. At least one (1) year experience in dealing with budget preparation including preparation of key budget reports
3. Basic knowledge on plan to budget module
4. Computer skills on IFMIS budget module.
5. A minimum working experience of three (3) years
6. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

(c) Terms of Service: Permanent/Contract

2. Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board located at Msomi Teachers’ College in Migori County.
3. All applications should reach the Chairman Migori County Public Service Board on or before Friday 21st August, 2015.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original Identity Cards, Academic and Professional Certificates and testimonials.
5. For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:
 Tax Compliance Certificate from KRA
 Clearance Certificate from HELB
 Clearance Certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
 Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
