Following the death of both a blogger and a teacher Albert Ojwang whose death personally shocked me and the rest of Kenyans, Kenya police needs to us it as a move to restore public confidence.

Like the rest of the country, I have been questioning myself in whose hands are we be safe when police officers whom we depend on to protect us turns “utumishi kwa wote” to “utumishi kwa wenye nguvu.”

For someone to be taken from his parents when they are having a meal by police officers in a guise of being under arrest in unclear reasons only to end up death is scary to say the least.

Albert just gave his thought in a post about the deputy inspector general of police Eliud Lagat, could it be the reason why his life was ended?

They could even go ahead to claim that the legend Albert hit himself on the wall when in the cell which is in contrary with the autopsy report that showed that he  underwent torture and neck compression.

I will urge my fellow Kenyans to continue with the action to go down the streets to seek justice for our own Albert.

This would help such cases to end in our country.

I see Ojwang’s dad pain which will stay despite despite members of the public and government coming in to give support to his family, the only support will be true justice for the death of his son.

We need a due and open court of law and judicial process conducted for his justice should be transparent.
