Suna West MP Peter Masara has advised governor Okoth Obado who recently decamped from ODM to worker harder at securing his legacy instead of popularising PDP.

On Saturday while speaking at Migori South SDA Church, Suna West MP Masara said everybody in Migori was a diehard supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“I was elected on an independent ticket, but under Raila name. Obados move was disastrous for going against Raila,” Masara said.

He said Migori will wait for campaign when Obado with the PDP ticket as a candidate in any preferred seat and supporting his political friends to ask about his legacy.

“We will put him to task to explain how billions of devolved funds have been used,” Masara said.

He termed Obados development record as a disaster, and said he is better off safeguarding his legacy for his two terms in office instead of antagonizing ODM in Migori region, a mission he said was impossible.

“We are waiting for him. Hospitals have no medicines and service delivery is pathetic,” he said.
