Transline Classic Bus
Angry boda boda operators threatened to set a blaze a Transline Classic company bus to help nab a hit and run driver.
The driver of the bus heading from Migori to Nairobi last evening knocked down a student from Nyarach Mixed Secondary School in Rongo.
The student is currently still fighting for his life.
He was riding a bicycle from school when the reckless driver knocked him down.
“The driver tried to escape but riders intercepted his bus and threatened to burnt it up which forced him to take the student to Rongo District Hospital and report the matter to police,” Celestine Mwango, said.
Residents have complained of the narrow road from Kisii-Migori which has caused several accidents.
