Kenya-Tanzania border at Isebania
A Tanzanian has been arraigned in Migori High Court for being in the country illegally without valid documents.
The alien Allan Choga Masanja appeared before senior principal magistrate Richard Odenyo and pleaded guilty of being in the country illegally.
The court heard that Masanja was arrested in Migori town by the police after a tip off by members of the public who got suspicious of the alien’s conduct in town.
The court found the accused guilty and was fined Ksh10, 000 and one month jail month term for the offence and will be deported back to Tanzania after paying the fine.
