The wife of Rongo Sub-County administrator has accused her husband of negligence and failure to pay school fees for their three children.

Speaking to journalists in Migori town, the woman Pamela Apollo claimed her husband had dumped her for a secret lover.

She said her husband whom they have been married together for the last 21 years have neglected her and her children since last year.

“My children have been sent out of school because of l fee arrears. I have talked to the father but he does not act over his children’s concerns. All he does is acquire big loans and goes missing from home for months, not caring about his family,” Pamela claimed

Pamela blamed her husband for entertaining a secret lover whom says is the source of the current family woes.

“I have been wondering what holds my husband outside home for days or weeks until I saw love messages of his secret lover in his phone,” she said.

However the husband dismissed the allegations as baseless claiming his wife has a mental problem.

He termed the allegations as uncalled for and said he had paid entire school fees for his three primary school children.

“Let it be known that my wife has had a mental medical condition in the past and most probably the condition has resurfaced,” Peter Apollo told the press

Apollo revealed that he is legally married to the second wife and not secrete lover as claimed by Pamela.

He said his second marriage is known by parents from both sides including his friends adding that he had cemented the marriage through payment of dowry.
