A three years old minor survived while a lorry crushed parents to dead in accident at Kababu area in the outskirts of Migori town.
Suna West police boss Elizabeth Wakuloba said that the tipper was travelling from Migori town towards Muhuru Bay when it lost control, veered off the road and crushed the three who were walking on the side of the road.
“The lorry was carrying cement and was being driven at a high speed when the accident happened,” Wakuloba said.
She said the parents of the minor were from hospital together where they had taken the child for treatment.
“The first onlookers who arrived at the scene heard the minor crying and managed to pulled him from the rubble whiles till alive. He suffered major injuries but is out of danger,” she said.

Wakuloba said the minor is still recuperating in hospital while the bodies of the two parents are at the same hospital morgue.
