Migori female senator aspirant Dennitah Ghati in 2022 general elections have intensified vote hunt with a launch of a six day disability medical camp.

Ghati, nominated by ODM to represent People Living With Disability in national assembly, said the medical camp that will target Kuria East and Kuria West constituencies will also see registration drive.

“The aim is to ensure all persons with disabilities in KURIA are assessed and registered by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities in readiness for issuance of Disability cards, mobility assistive devices, educational support and to be eligible for government support services including monthly stipend,” she said.

She said the registration will ensure PwDs have their independence and dignity.
