Confusion has reigned in Migori county on Friday as Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) delegates were stranded after the bus hired to ferry them to Mombasa did not turn up.

The bus was to be offered by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) to ferry them to Mombasa for ODM ten years anniversary celebrations.

Delegates said they expected the bus in Migori town on Thursday but up to the time of going to the press the bus had not turn up.

Others resorted to use personal means to travel to Mombasa as county ODM party chairperson, Philip Makabongo confirming the incident.

“We made calls and sent messages to the organizers, including some of the elected party leaders from Migori County, but no communication had come through,” Makabongo said.

By the time of going to press, the delegates were still stranded and attempts to reach local organizers were unfruitful.
