Nyarach mixed community laud Obado for Sh4m water project

The Nyarach Mixed Secondary school community has thanked governor Okoth Obado after county government launched a multi-million water project.

The school in Central Kamagambo ward, Rongo sub-county will now have water shared with the community, Rongo sub county administrator Seth Odoyo said.

He said the area will now the community has access to clean water for drinking and domestic use wh had to trek for long distance to get the precious commodity.

“We call on the locals to value the purpose of this project and enhance it’s security by not vandalising some of the equipments used in it’s establishment following the difficulties faced by the locals hence calling on the government to help establish the project,” urged Odoyo.

Nyarach mixed secondary school Joseph Opiyo has assured the sub county administrator that the administration of the school has made plans to ensure the equipment used in the project are safe especially at night by hiring a watchman.

He said the school neede d 12 cubic litres of water for use on a daily basis which they spent Sh90,000 weekly before the project was launched.
