Migori Woman Representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo photo while walking beside a donkey cart pulling along a donated water tank by her office has elicited mixed reaction.

On 6th day of June, 2020 after distributing 50 water storage tanks in Nyatike sub-county, the politician found the man transporting the tank to a local promary school.

When the picture surfaced, residents had moxed reactions:

“Dong’e DR tiyo?” Gradus JaMigori posted in popular Facebook group Migori Republican Council.

“Tinde oweyo tich bunge osembo punda, bure kabisa (Nowadays she has left legislation work to walk donkeys),” Ouma Gordon asked.

But Wilberforce Adera, a was elated with the picture as said “in any case she will vi for any seat let her count my vote.”

Following, the reactions, the legislator took to her page to set the record straight.

“I encountered this man and his two donkeys, ferrying a tank to a Primary School several kilometres away. Despite not being able to afford a pickup to do the same, they decided the tank had to reach its destination,” she posted.

She said she was elated by the man resolve to deliver the tan, “by thuon by donkey. I had no option but join in the walk.”
