Migori governor aspirant in the 2022 general elections Edick Anyanga has said those against the handshake are against the Building Bridges Initiative signature drive.

Anyanga, while addressing journalists said the same faces that have been against the union between president Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are out to scuttle the process.

“The two mean well for the country and have approved the call for referendum, as their staunch supporters we will sign the document,” he said.

He said constitution making is a process and Kenyans should take part in it.

“Those who are against handshake saw its benefit on peace and development in the country, may the same people see the benefit of this referendum push and avoid antagonising it,” he said.
