Environment and Water Executive Rebecca Maroa revealed this during the World Environment Day celebrations at Nyamome Primary on June 4.

“We will not only use the group, but also private garbage collectors since the law will give us a road map to us manage solid waste,” she said.

She said town and municipal areas will be zoned for the groups which will have to “prove that they have a pickup or tipper, or can access mode of disposing off garbage collected into designated area.”
