Last week a parliamentary aspirant for Nyatike constituency received campaign cash from an ODM rebel legislator from Homa Bay county.
The two met at Ojode Plaza Hotel in Ndhiwa town, room number 15 where Sh350,000 exchanged hands.
The amount was used to fund a meet the people tour in what is believed to be Kalausi win regrouping to deny Cord leader Raila Odinga votes in South Nyanza region.
The legislator has recently been attacked by his colleagues in Homa Bay after he was live on a radio interview where he attacked Cord leader and the ODM party.
