Migori county will distribute 1,700 smart phones to Community Health Volunteers to help in digitisation of health system.
Governor Ochillo Ayacko said so far they have distributed the gadgets to 860 volunteers and will add others to make it to 1,700 beneficiries.
“We want to tell our CHV that Migori will be in the fore front in pushing through their agenda and welfare including timely releasing stipends as they play a key role in our health system,” Ayacko said.
He was speaking in Migori Country Referral Hospital on Tuesday when he distributed medicine and equipment worth Sh60million to all hospitals.
“We have taken this step because we are keen in digitisation of the health system both in revenue and management of patients, medicine and equipment,” Ayacko said.
