A family in Kuria West Sub County have called on police and the public to help them get their abducted five months old infant amid agony and despair.

A group of three men invaded their home last week and left the child’s mother in double pain of nursing her loss and breastfeeding pain when they abducted the minor.

The child’s grandmother Mrs Rose Rioba, they were having their supper at around 9 pm with her children, when three masked men stormed their compound, beating and rounding them up before making away with the infant.

The incident reported at Mabera sub-county police station left the family in shock, as their daughter the mother of the child has just concluded her form exams last year 2022 and was nursing a breast infection which forced her to feed her baby on one breast before he was abducted.

According to the area sub-Chief, Mr Thomas Marwa such an incident has never been reported in the area as they had only witnessed stock theft which ended three years ago after an Anti-stock theft police camp was erected in the area.

The family is pleading with anyone with any information about the whereabouts of their grandchild to help them as their daughter is in much pain.
