Joy erupted at Kanga High School on Thursday as the school broke their own record to get 10.82 mean score from 285 candidates who sat Kenya Secondary School Examination.
Students sang the school anthem before principal Michael Gweno announced the results from the first candidate for Kanga as a national school.
“It is through the grace of God that today we have managed to attain the best mean score from the national examination,” Gweno said.
The school said team work from all players: students, teachers and parents to get the good results to bring together 62 teachers and 1,210 students.
The school had 41 As, 121 (A-), 79 (B+), 28 (B).
In Migori county Rapogi School came second with a mean score of 9.35.
