The Shree Jay Ambee Mattresses in Migori town has embarked on issuing free 2,500 face masks to Migori town residents.
The proprietor Jagdish Patel said he took the gesture to give back to the society.

“The country is experiencing a third wave of Covid 19 infection despite a vaccine being released, this gesture will help in maintaining health protocol,” Patel said.

He said the face masks are manufactured by Tuf Foam Mattresses Limited under the Word Health Organisation 3-ply face maks.
“They can be used as anti-dust, have three layers and they are comfortable and breathable,” Patel said.

“We are great full for this gesture, the shop has been our one stop centre for mattresses, cushions and KenTank. By giving back to society we have created a bond with him,” Margret Atieno said.
She said because of tough economic times or just fatigue most people have stopped using face masks.

“This is a positive gesture for us as residents,” she added.
The shop, situated opposite Equity Bank in Migori Town offers the best prices for KenTank, tuf-foam mattresses, pillows, cushions and plastic chairs.
