Migori County Secretary Christopher Rusanna has urged Migori residents against misconceptions peddled on social media on Covid 19 vaccine.

Addressing the media after the launch of the vaccination exercise,the County Secretary said that there are many misconceptions and myths peddled against the vaccine.

He said that the myths are meant to derail the efforts to fight the corona virus that has for the last one year affected the world economy.

At the same time the county health executive Kephas Nyamita said residents should ignore rumours things being peddled around and also make sure that they take up the vaccine and get the jab when the time comes.

The same sentiments were echoed by the chief nursing officer in Migori.
