Rongo MP aspirant Paul Abuor has said he has been the acting area legislator after MP Dalmas Otieno missed from ground for close to two years.

Abuor who came second in last polls said he has been representing the area in Orange Democratic Movement functions in the region and nationally after Dalmas missed in action.

He also said he has been attending all social functions in Rongo while speaking on Sunday during the official opening of the East Kamagambo ODM ward offices presided over by Abuor.

“The legislator we elected has been missing in action on the ground, I am now the shadow legislator in Rongo as I attend all party and social functions in Rongo,” Abuor said.

Dalmas broke ranks with the orange party which saw him being expelled by county branch.

But Dalmas has been quoted by section of the press saying his silence is calculated.
