Section of Migori leaders want Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha to allow religious leaders to be part of the solution to tame ongoing schools unrests.
Bishop John Okinda President Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa Church believes that religious leader should be allowed into schools and guide students on what to do whenever aren’t satisfied with the running of the school.
Okinda condemned those students who are burning and destroying school properties across the country saying it was high time for religious leaders to be part of the solution.
The Bishop called on all students to seek advice from the teachers and the religious leaders when they have an issue instead of burning down schools which have taken parents and government years to build.
Okinda called on church leaders to seek spiritual intervention by bringing parents, teachers and students together and common progressive understanding.
The Pefa President agreed with Magohas idea of caning and punishment in schools so that the students get to know that if you do a mistake then you will be caned accordingly.

Exactly, bishop this over freedom has downgraded the current efforts in upbringing well disciplined pupils and students, I do believe if corporal punishment is brought back then all might be well.
