Migori speaker Boaz Okoth has set the stage to reclaim his seat against the assembly and MCAs after getting stay orders.
On February 15, Okoth got the orders at Kisumu Employment and Labour Relation Court where he sued the Migori county assembly and her clerk as first and second respondents respectively.
He moved to court on February 9 just a day after he was impeached by MCAs and Macalder Kanyarwanda MCA George Duro elected and sworn in as acting speaker.
Okoth also won after getting orders which will restrain the assembly from “dissolving Migori County Assembly Service Board,” which was also reconstituted during the impeachment.
The assembly and the clerk have been instructed to file their responses on the petition by February 25 while Okoth has been instructed to file any further affirdavits and submissions by March 25.
The court through Judge Stephen Radido said they will issue a judgment May 11.
Okoth was impeached over gross misconduct and an incident on February 2 when he was arrested and accused alongside seven others for breaking into Assembly Finance Officer Evans Ogutu office.

What’s the reason for reinstating him , furthermore who is he going to lead now that MCAs impeached him .
