A family from Ng’ong’a area in Awendo sub-county have appealed for help to help their son’s hospital bill cleared from a Kisumu hospital.
Silver Melear Otieno, 32, a student at University of Nairobi and Strathmore University where he was taking accounting course was working for a Micro-finance organisation in Kiambu area;.
He was sick from mental illness before he was taken to Mathare Mental Health clinic for ten days and later transfered to Kilimani Hospital in Kisumu.
“We thank God because he has improved greatly ever since he was admitted at the hospital from December 17 last year, our fear is that the bill has accumulated for much and he needs to be discharged,” Charles Otieno Japhet, 62 years a farmer and the patient’s father said.
Japhet said they thank the hospital for stabilising their son and he appeals for help to have him released.
“He has improved and we wish for him to be released from hospital through well wishers to help us settle the buill for him to go for three months counselling and further treatment at Asumbi Rehab,” he said.
