Rongo MP Paul Abuor has been picked to sit in the all powerful Budget and Appropriations Committee of the national assembly.

The committee is key in drafting of country budget and following up on implementation of projects across the country, which also include checking how Kenya source funds for budget process.

Speaking to Migori News, the legislator said he was ggrateful to “ODM Party and all my Colleagues in the National Assembly for their confidence in me through the appointment to serve,” in the committee.

He said his appointment comes at a “very critical moment when the economy is underperforming as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic among other factors.”

He said his key agenda in the committee will be to push for budgetary allocations for programs and projects that will ensure quality service delivery to Kenyans.
