Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) women league president Beth Syengo has thrown support for Migori woman representative Pamela Odhiambo governor bid in August 9 general elections.
Syengo said women leaders like Odhiambo should vie for all elective posts and said the party nomination exercise will be free and fair.
“The nomination process will be free and fair especially for the governor position, whoever will be given the baton to represent the party will have the voices for the county,” she said.
She was speaking in Migori town today after being hosted by Odhiambo when they launched the Young Captain lobby group targetting youths in learning instutions and outside take part in the forthcoming elections.
“Odhiambo has been steadfast in supporting the party and we will reciprocate by supporting women leadership,” she said.
Am glad to hear Beth Syengo is fully supporting Hon.Dr.Pamela Odhiambo for her race bid , it’s high time we elect women leaders because they are so caring and supportive.
