I see Walter’s hand all over that ‘fake’ Mizani polls results, he is scared of me- Linus Odera

Awendo MP aspirant Linus Odera has rubbished a recent poll ranking that gave the incumbent unassailable lead if elections were to be held today.

Two days ago, Mizani Africa reported that POLLS: 85.7% of Awendo voters will re-elect back their legislator Walter Owino with only 6.4% of them being undecided.

Iscar Oluoch who came second to Walter in the last polls got only  1.8% while Jared Kopiyo, former MP who was floored by Walter in his first term and didn’t vie in the last polls coming third at 1.4%.

Others are John Okatch at 0.6%, Linus Odera at 0.2%, Rollex Wasonga at 1.5%, Paul ‘Nyumba Moja’ Onyango at 0.9%, Evans ‘Nyamaganda’ Ocholla getting 0.6% while others gained 0.9 %.

At the same time Owino has an impressive 71.9% performance rating, reflecting strong voter approval of his leadership and delivery in the constituency.

“I see Walter hands all over that Mizani Polls, he cooked it personally, posted it hours before even the pollster did on their Facebook handle. And again Migori has eight constituencies, governor, senator and woman rep seat why only Awendo if they were not paid?” Odera asked.

Odera said as a legislator for the past eight years, Walter has nothing to show as a legislator.

“Right now we are agitated as Awendo residents over failures of Sony Sugar company with looming auction of land in addition to common outcry over bursary allocation, where did those pollsters get those misleading figures,” Odera said.

He said from the above the results were skewed and was a bigger ploy to hoodwink wananchi to kill confident of other aspirants.

“In the poll we had two former aspirants who came second in polls, and look at what they got? Right now I am the only headache to Walter, I have been giving him sleepless nights and sending him to the loo each time I hold a mic. He has colluded with the pollsters to dampen my spirit,” Odera claimed.

Odera said the poll results is a bigger ploy by the aspirant to start by pushing through a free direct ticket from the ODM party.

“We know the trick, pick the most imminent threats to the incumbent, pay pollsters to put them far like Walter did now so that I am washed, that is why I am not bothered by those results,” Odera added.

The aspirant said the results aside, he can only give Walter a scale of 3 at a scale of 1-10 over his work, which is 30 per cent.

“That is a straight E, he has performed below par and this is the true results on the ground. That is why I am confident I will send him home,” Odera added.

He said Walter still has to answer to electorates on skewness of issuance of bursary which is still being done manually instead of going digital and the failing Sony Sugar.

“In addition to skewed bursary allocation the amount is also very few, I wont go into the MP never speaking in parliament so it beats logic when a pollster start pulling figures from the sky,” he added.

WE have constituencies like Kiharu where Ndindi Nyoro represents and even his colleague Oscar Sudi, who have helped boosting education in free fees which I will push once elected from August next year.
