VACANCIES
Migori County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions as per the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act No.17 of 2012.
ICT OFFICER II, JG “H”: – EIGHT (8) POSTS REF: MCPSB 112/2015
a) Duties and responsibilities:
1. Assist in coordinating systems analysis, design and programs specifications;
2. Ensuring timely implementation and effective, maintenance of systems; developing
reports on ICT standards
3. Preparing progress reports on the Information Communication Technology equipment
maintenance;
4. Designing and maintaining Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN);
5. Preparing technical reports for users
b) Requirements for appointments
1. Be a Kenyan Citizen
2. Be a holder of Diploma in Computer Science, Information, Information Communication, Information Communication Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
3. A minimum working experience of three (3) years;
4. Possession of CCNA III, MCSE, Oracle qualification is an added advantage
5. Evidence of proficiency in networks and database systems integration and administration
6. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
7. Demonstrate professional ability, initiative and competence in organizing and directing work.

2. Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board located at Msomi Teachers’ College in Migori County.
3. All applications should reach the Chairman Migori County Public Service Board on or before Friday 21st August, 2015.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original Identity Cards, Academic and Professional Certificates and testimonials.
5. For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:
Tax Compliance Certificate from KRA
Clearance Certificate from HELB
Clearance Certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
