Migori county Teachers vote during their Knut elections yesterday at Migori Secondary School yesterday.
Homa bay TSC director of education Diosianah Ahindukha has retired.
Her place has been taken by Migori Deputy TSC director of education Fredrick Ng’anga.
Ahindukhah will be remembered for her fight for girl child education which had been violated for long.
She had friends and enemies almost at equal measure as her rod spared no one who erred.
Ng’anga is taking over a county which had been kept on toes throughout Ahindukhah’s reign.
KUPPET Homa bay branch executive secretary Stephen Yogo welcomed the new director to Homa Bay saying county teachers will work closely with him boost education.
