Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno came out with a bang by leading other like-minded legislators and politicians to support governor Okoth Obado re-election, but chicken out from meeting Cord leader Raila Odinga face to face.

Dalmas led a team of MPs Joseph Ndiege (Suna West), Jared Kopiyo (Awendo), John Kobado (Uriri) and Women Representative aspirant Fatuma Mohammed to join a caravan from Rongo town towards the final venue at Wath Ong’er in Nyatike.

Dalmas addressed the crowd from Rongo to Migori town, but conspicuously missed out at Wath Ong’er center where Obado apologised for him saying he was sick.

The team also skipped a lunch with Raila hosted by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.

In Migori town Dalmas said he has been in political for close to 30 years and hinted at governor aspirant Ochillo Ayacko to step aside for Obado and vie after 2022.

“If I tell another young man to stand aside for Obado till after 2022 will I make a mistake?” Otieno

Meanwhile Raila led the drive at Isebania border point and Nyatike where he castigated the Jubilee government
insisting he will make president Uhuru Kenyatta a one term President.
