Businessman behind the newest supermarket in Isebania town which borders Tanzania has banked on growth and security.
On Friday Moses Njoroge Kanai who is the director of Kanaiz Supermarket said he took chance to launch the supermarket because the border town was seeing a massive growth.
“We have residents forced to travel to Migori and Kisii towns to buy cheap and quality goods for their homes and businesses, I plunged into wholesale and retail business to cut them the travel expenses,” Kanai said.
He was speaking on Friday during the launch of the supermarket which will be the first to open by 6am and close by midnight.
“We want to bring back the culture of opening late in the night and at dawn to catch on travellers entering or leaving the country through Tanzania, this is a border town,” Kanai said.
He said fellow traders and businessmen should follow suit and have a vibrant night life.
“Isebania town should never go back to sleep early, we have better security than the past and we ban on more investors to call this their hub,” he said.
