Anne Omodho Anyanga mourns Monica Amollo

Migori Governor aspirant in 2017 elections Anne Omodho Anyanga has eulogized former Homa Bay Orange Democratic Movement chair Monica Amollo as a true epitome of value of women leadership.

Anne said the February 10 accident that claimed the life of the politician and three other people in Ndhiwa has left a big leadership vacuum in women leadership in South Nyanza

Speaking to Migori News Anyanga said Amollo was a Omodho’s family friend and her death came as a shock to her.

“She severally attempted to get the Ndhiwa constituency seat from the late Orwa Ojode and Agustino Neto, and her resilience was a inspiration to women polticians,” she said.

The politician passed her condolences to the family of the late Amolo who passed on at a Ongeng’ area, Ndhiwa Constituency on February 10.

Other leaders to pass their condolence messages are nominated MCAs Eunita Kokeyo and John Kennedy.

Joseph Olala and Philip Makabong’o, Migori ODM Executive Secretary and Vice Chairperson also mourned Amollo
