Teams scramble for Sh300k top price in Junet’s Suna East Tournament

Suna East constituency teams have upped the scramble for top price of Sh300,000 for annual tournament started by area legislator Junet Mohammed.

The games kicked off on December 22 with Kadika FC thrashing Beisha FC three nil in a thrilling match as other games were played across the constituency.

Mohammed said the games will help nurture talents in the constituency and also push through games and teams support.

“We will have finals that will give Suna East teams a chance to showacase their talent for sports scouts,” Mohammed said.

The first team will receive Sh300,000 cash price, a trophy and medals while the second team will get Sh150,000, jersey and medals while the third will get Sh100,00.

The fourth team will get Sh50,000 while each participating team will get a ball.

In the women category the winner will get Sh50,000, a trophy, jersey and medals while the second best team will get Sh20,000, jersey and medals with the third getting Sh10,000 and jersery.

The fourth team will get Sh5,000 and each team will get a ball.
