Nyatike MP aspirant Shadrack Anyuo met with Orange Democratic Movement party delegates from the constituency ahead of a county fete.

Anyuo met the delegates in Migori town shortly before they joined their over 1,000 colleagues in a county meeting which was organised on Thursday at Migori county stadium.

The meeting was shaped as a brunch in a Migori town holiday where Anyuo confirmed that unlike other MP aspirants who have waivered from the party he will vie on an ODM ticket.

“We have moved out to shape the destiny of Nyatike which has stagnated in the past decade, we will share our dreams and vision ahead of 2027 polls,” Anyuo said.

He said the meeting has confirmed that he was “firmly in the race to represent Nyatike and my party of choice will be ODM.”

Migori county ODM had planned a meeting of all delegates in a bid to boost the party from grassroots ahead of national polls.

County governor Ochillo Ayacko hosted the national chair and his Homa Bay counterpart Gladys Wanga and acting party leader and Kisumu governor Anyang’ Nyong’o for the fete.
