Michael Okinyi from Rongo Success Academy is probably the top performing student in the county after getting 433 marks in the just released Kenya Certificate of Primary Education results.

The academy which also has a 381.23 mean score by the time of going to the press is probably the best performing school in the county.

Eliud Kondeyo, the school’s proprietor said they had a mean score of 381.289 with nine students getting 400 and above marks with 40 candidates this year.

The second student Emma Faith got 423 marks and said she wanted to be a neurosurgeon in future.

“Its normal results for us as we have gotten than for over a decade. We attribute it to being faithful and hard work. Above all we thank God apart from cooperation by teachers, pupils and parents,” Kondeyo said.
Kondeyo said Okinyi wanted to be an engineer in future.

In Mabera Bridge International School Stephen Nchagwa was hoisted shoulder high by colleagues after scoring 405 marks out of 30 candidates who sat for examination for the first time.

Winnie Kagoro, the center’s head teacher said Mabera hosted Wasweta, Mabera, Kehancha and Isebania centers due to a mishap with the ministry of education.

She lauded the results saying “seeing is believing those people saying Bridge International teaches from a different syllabus will now trust us. This is our first exam and we are proud.”
Nchagwa said he wishes to be a Mechanical engineer in future

Sony Sugar Academy head Peter Awino said they had 40 candidates with the highest Victor Sabare getting 414 marks with a mean score of 375.

“The results is through the efforts of teaching staff and parents not forgetting Sony sugar company which is our sponsor,” Awino said.

Monica Sabare, the winner’s mother said his son was prayerful and wants to be an engineer in the future.

Ravasco Mutindi, Emmanuel Tukyi Academy director from Kehancha said they were satisfied with a mean score of 349 with Leah Chacha who scored 405 marks wanting to be an accountant in future.

Tobias Werema, the Momokoro Academy Director from Isebania town said they had 22 candidates who got a 357 mean score.
