Kisii county has the highest number of nominated MCAs in her assembly thanks first for being the most populous county in Nyanza with 45 wards.
Following a diverse election where voters filled 45 wards with almost a dozen parties during the August 12 elections, the assembly is diverse with nomination list.
Out of 45 wards, a total of 12 parties swooped and are represented in the assembly showing diverse and maturity of democracy. Only three candidates were elected on an independent ticket.
This how parties shared the six slots with Orange Democratic Movement being a majority.
