Ndiege supports provincial administration

Joseph Ndiege, the Suna West MP has supported the need to retain provincial administration within the government structure.

The legislator said the move will help to increase service delivery to Kenyans and provincial administration is best placed to fight insecurity.

He said scraping off the structure would lead to massive insecurity at the rural areas.

He was addressing his constituents during the official welcoming a new sub county commissioner Yussuf Boru Huka.

Ndiege at the same time called on the national government to consider creating more administrative institutions instead of threatening to scrap them off adding that doing so would create more problems and confusion.

He cautioned county government officials against misleading residents on position of local administrators and instead asked them to work together for the benefit of the residents.

He urged residents to take the ongoing ‘Okoa Kenya’ signature collection seriously sating that it is the only highway to liberation.

Huka told the residents to shun political branding and labeling as a way of containing political intolerance.

He said that primitive political cultures are extremely detrimental to progressive minds.

He told the residents to take advantage of opportunities that come along with new initiatives and compete equally and favorably with other regions.

He warned the youths against idling around shopping centres at a time when they should be taking part in active nation building activities.
