Migori governor Okoth Obado has been urged by traders at Rongo Town market to prevent a pending cholera attack due to unhygienic condition at the facility.

They said county officials have not done enough to ease the huge pile of garbage and lack of clean water at the market.

Through their chairman Joseph Ariwi, traders told Migori News that their attempt to have the issue resolved has failed.

This comes after fish traders in Migori market invaded unfinished market after blaming county government of delaying completion.

Florence Anyango, the traders chairlady said they even refused to pay taxes but the progress was still slow.
