Migori speaker Christopher Rusana has confirmed that all is set for his Friday thanksgiving ceremony despite rumours of postponement.

Speaking to the press in Migori town, Rusana together with the chairman of the organising committee Nelson Wasonga said over five governors will grace the event.

The event will take place at Mukuro village, Wiga ward in Suna West constituency on Friday as from 10am.

Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga, who is also the national Orange Democratic Movement party chairman will be the chief guest

Other governors to grace the occasion are Kisii’s Simba Arati, Migori Ochillo Ayacko and Siaya’s James Orengo.

“All nine MPs from Migori and the senator have also confirmed attendance,” Rusana said.

Others will be speakers from across the country and other leaders and dignitaries, all are welcome.

“All are welcome, we will have a peacefull event to give thanks to God almighty,” Rusana said.

Wasonga said all was smooth and the function will be a success.
