President William Ruto has been told to expect a huge overwhelming crowd during his state visit set for Migori county on Wednesday.
Migori governor Ochillo Ayacko has said all is set for Ruto’s visit in the county and has leaders they have marshalled all support to welcome the head of state.
“As leaders and those who support service delivery we will ensure we have the public turn up, not only to welcome the president, but support his development agenda in the region and Kenya,” Ayacko said.
He was speaking in Migori town alongside Nyatike MP Tom Odege which will be among regions to be visited.
Ahead of the meeting, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed had a two day rigorous meeting to mobilise Migori town to welcome the president.
Already several political leaders in the county have also camped in Migori as they pushed through the visit.

State house in a communiquĂ© said the president’s Programme in Migori County on Wednesday will start at Kegonga Cluster Water Project, Kuria East Constituency.
The the team will proceed to Lower Kuja Irrigation Project ln Nyatike Constituency before ending the visit at Ngege- Mapera Road, Suna East Constituency.
“We are happy to get these projects because Kegonga town and Kuria East area will not get piped water in homes and boost the economy and the road which had stalled in Suna East will kick off. These two projects will open up rural areas,” Ayacko said.

“We also gazetting of the Macalder area as forest land which has affected operation in the area, we will also want gold mining to be upgraded in the area,” Odege said.
