By Manuel Odeny,
Uriri MP candidate in the last general elections Jared Kwaga has set to engage youths during the August holiday with a football tournament for boys and girls team.
Kwaga and his team have organised the tourney which will kick off across all four wards in Uriri on August 9 before finals are set to end at Kambogo grounds in Central Kanyamkago on August 20.
“Everything is running on smoothly with registrations and we expected a huge turn out for football lovers, my team in the ground is moving on well with preparations,” Kwaga told Nyanza News over the phone.
In the last polls, Kwaga campaigned to unseat the incumbent Mark Nyamita who won on an ODM ticket.
Already the constituency is poised to be ‘vacant’ in the next polls as Nyamita has been flirting strongly to unseat governor Ochillo Ayacko in next polls.
