In 2022 general elections Kenyans went for the general elections including residents of Siaya county.
The county is among 6 which is under special coverage by Nyanza News and covers an area of 2,496 square kilometres with a total of 30 wards spread across 6 constituencies.
ODM became the majority part by sweeping over 95 per cent of elected seats which saw them sweep the nominated slots heavily picked by 11 female and 2 male members of the assembly
