The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party garnered over 99 per cent of 35 wards in Kisumu in the 2022 general elections.
Only one candidate Oliver Bill the Member of County Assembly for Kobura ward sailed through on an Independent ticket.
Kisumu is one of the 6 counties in the former Nyanza Province which will get special coverage from Nyanza News.
It covers an area of 2,086 square kilometres. It has a total of 35 wards in its 7 constituencies. The county is headed by Governor Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o.
