Masara disburses Sh27m bursary for Suna West students

Suna West MP Peter Masara has disbursed bursary worth Sh27million to learners in his constituency.

Accompanied by Migori senator Eddy Oketch among other leaders the legislator toured all four wards in the constituency.

He challenges parents to support their children in furthering their education after form four and most of them are left to straggle on their own.

“Let’s us work together as a society to ensure our children have the best opportunities in attaining their future professional goals. Utilize the teachers and school heads within our schools to provide guidance to the students especially after KCSE to enable them make the right choice on courses to pursue in tertiary learning institutions,” he said.

He said his pledge to voters and dream is to “see a Suna West as the most educated constituents who are able to create jobs for themselves and opportunities for others and in return contribute towards economic development of this region and the country at large.”

The senator called on the residents to embrace and support the kind of leadership they have to enable them attract more benefits which can be brought by the elected leaders to their region.
