Migori town remained peaceful as residents walked past anti-riot police after the Supreme Court upheld the election of William Ruto as the president elect on August 9 polls.

The town, which has been at the center of political hot spot over elections in the past remained calm as residents went on with life as police vehicles stood standby.

The same was reported in major Nyanza towns of Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya.
