Migori police are holding a man aged 30 from Osingo village in Suna East constituency for taking a 12 years old class six pupil from Kodila Primary School as his wife.

A police report seen by Migori News showed the man is being held at Migori police station as he will be arraigned in court soon.

“On 26th August 2022 at 7:00am in the morning a man by the name Chalse Ajuma 30 years old was found with a 12 years old girl a pupil of Grade six Kodila primary school whom he had married as a wife,” the report said.

.The suspect was also arrested and put under police custody in Migori Police station waiting to be taken to court on Monday 29th August 2022.
