Migori governor aspirant Dalmas Otieno has picked Jubilee Party as his vehicle on August 9.

Otieno’s move is seen as a snub on governor Okoth Obado who said Dalmas was to vie under PDP.

Former Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno has bolted out of Orange Democratic Movement primaries for his governor bid, and has instead picked Jubilee Party as his vehicle.

On March 10, 2022 Otieno was received at Jubilee Party headquarters by top officials when he announced his change of party, which is under Azimio la Umoja coalition.

“I have worked with some of Jubilee Party leadership for the past thirty years and I have chosen the party because it has a strong development record which is the same agenda I have for Migori,” Dalmas said.

He said the same development record from Jubilee will be reciprocated in Migori once he is electwed as a governor to boost industrialisation, irrigation, fisheries and tourism sectors.
