Migori governor aspirant in the August 9 general elections Robert Kennedy Okong’o ‘Ja Migori’ has refuted claims that he will not vie for the seat.
Okong’o said he is a Orange Democratic Movement life member and in no terms has he been approached by Migori governor Okoth Obado to vie under the PDP ticket.

“I am not a girl for somebody to talk for me, i have not approached anybody or been approached for PDP in Awendo constituency. I am firmly in ODM as a life member,” Okong’o said.
Okong’o said he will firmly be in the race for the governor seat and those talks of Awendo MP race are not genuine.
“What i said before and will continue to say is that i am firmly in the governor race,” he said.
He said he will continue with his campaigns for the seat.
