The political earthquake started Principal Secretary Nelson Marwa has continue to shake the minority Kuria community with Wilson Mogendi Saiya joining Azimio la Umoja to unseat William Ruto man Mathias Robi.

Saiya, in an interview with Migori News said he decamped to ODM from UDA brigade ahead of the August 9 elections and said the community will follow Marwa directions.

“We have a spokesman in the next polls and going forward in Marwa, claims by Kuria West MP Mathias Robi that he was a spokesman is trash. We will change the narrative in Kuria and ensure Raila Odinga becomes the next president,” he said.

He said claims by Robi that elders who endorsed Raila recently in Kuria and made Marwa a spokesman were paid was an insult to the community.

“We have four clans whose elders were consulted and did the cultural even at Kehancha which is our headquarters in broad daylight, anybody disputing that will face voters in next polls,” he said.

He added: “PS Marwa is the only spokesman for Kuria and Raila our candidate, this was done through public participation.”
